Tea Time Graphic Dress

We always hear that beauty comes in many different shapes and sizes. So now let's talk about how to express and reveal that beauty for the world to see. In my series "Beauty Revealed" I talk about outer as well as inner beauty. I want to inspire you to wear pieces that compliment your figure, and accurately express your style. I also want to provide you with a weekly challenge that will empower you to become more like Jesus daily.

BEAUTY REVEALED through STYLE

IMG_9830_1   I first saw this dress on one of my favorite bloggers, Nicole Ware from the blog Gary Pepper. It still blows my mind that a dress so modest and vintage is on trend this summer. I'm not complaining because I think this look is very flattering for most body types. You can also freely wear high heels without the dress looking too short. Especially if you are petite, higher heels will do wonders for you.

Let's be twins!! You can buy this dress by clicking the photo below!

IMG_9890_1   Because this dress is full at the bottom I wanted to go with a sleeker hair style, so I flat-ironed the heck out of it! The purse I'm wearing is vintage from my mom's closet. Have you ever explored your mom or grandma's vintage wardrobe? If not you're missing out! Not only can it be a treasure trove of many timeless pieces, but you also get the sentimental value!   IMG_9892_1
My husband took these photos right before I had to rush out of the house for my sister's last wedding dress fitting appointment. He's so funny because initially he's never that excited when I ask him to do a photo shoot for me, but once we are out there he gets super into it and helps guide me through the different shots. I always appreciate the help!

BEAUTY REVEALED through ACTIONS

John 16:33 "I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have trouble. But take heart; I have overcome the world.”

Weekly Challenge: Do you ever feel defeated and alone when facing the world around you? Whether its facing bullying in school, opposition at work, or not being treated fairy. When this happens remember that Jesus is by your side and has already defeated the evil in this world. Right now you may be called to endure difficulties, but a time will come when you will be free from that. I challenge you to memorize this verse and repeat it in your head when you are feeling defeated!

Oh my gosh!! That’s so crazy, yes I’ve posted a good amount of comments on that support site, didn’t realize those comments would have a greater purpose than just getting my tech questions answered! I’ve definitely felt lost at time with the direction of my blog, but right now I’m trying to focus more of my attention on my YouTube site! Let me know what you think xo
