New Post format! If you haven't yet, make sure to read the beginning of my last post 'High Waisted Shorts' for an explaination behind the new format I have chosen to use for my fashion posts. I want to talk about more than just style, instead my vision is to dive deeper into what it means to reveal your beauty to the world.
Beauty Revealed through FashionI had the pleasure of working with the owner of William Edward Boutique to bring you this post! I had contacted her after hearing about her super cute new boutique, and she graciously gifted me an item to share on my blog. After we were a few minutes into the conversation I found out that she is a Christian too, and that her dad is a pastor in the area. We had to celebrate this common connection becuase you don't often stumble accross Christians in Boston!

I first feel in love with the classic cut, and color of this jumpsuit. This particular deep blue color goes well with all hair colors, and the black criss cross across the front gives it an edgy look. Jumpsuits can be challenging when trying to find the perfect fit, because you only get to choose one size that is supposed to fit your top and bottom. For most girls, including myself, those are not the same size in real life. Don't give up!! Try different brands, and you WILL find a jumpsuit that works for you!
I've found that when picking shoes for my outfits I usually go with the trial and error method. I have my "go-to" heels and flats, but often I get the best results when I wander from my norms. My husband is actually really good at helping me outfit-shoe match. Getting a second opinion never hurts, but always go with what makes you feel most confident!
Honesty Hour: Most of the time I try really hard not to edit my photos too much. I often like to add a blue tinted color filter, or increase the contrast. Sometimes though, I choose to "smooth out" my face so you don't get an up close look at my imperfections. I have some scaring on my face from when I had acne as a kid, so taking the step to expose that to the world is really hard! I just wanted to be honest and say that I did smooth out my face in the below photo. I'm hoping that by shedding light on my insecurities, it will allow me to overcome them in the future! <3
